Maria was born in Glen Innes in NSW.  Her family moved to Albury in 1983 and Maria completed her HSC at Murray High School.   After completing further studies, Maria worked in early education in Albury. 

Yearning for a change, Maria joined George in 1994 and has worked in administration and property management.  Maria has completed various courses related to administration, property management and QuickBooks accounting program.  Today, she primarily works in business administration and marketing.  Maria enjoys the flexibility of part time work and balancing a busy family life.
